After graduating from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tokyo, he worked for a general trading company before earning an MBA from Case Western Reserve University in the United States.
After gaining practical marketing experience at a foreign healthcare company and a foreign pharmaceutical company, he worked in pharmaceutical industry-specific consulting at a foreign strategic consulting firm.
He particularly specializes in the marketing/commercial areas, and has worked on a wide range of topics, including supporting new drug launches and formulating growth strategies.
With extensive experience across the entire pharmaceutical value chain, he values a style of providing consistent support from strategy planning to producing results on the ground, leveraging the perspectives of both the pharmaceutical company and the consulting side. He also has extensive experience in international Services and is fluent in English and French.
